I had never had a tarot card reading before, having heard it was a “tool of the devil” and such, but my curiosity got the better of me. I went to the Kingston Psychic Fair last winter and saw that Bonita was there. I knew her from work before she began her practice in Bath. My skepticism about the value of the Tarot was gone before the reading was half done. Bonita has a talent for zeroing in on the real issues at hand. The cards were merely her springboard. We first met Bonita when she was looking for a ‘ writer’s retreat ‘. She stayed with us for a week at our pet-friendly vacation suite called Grey Stone Return, while she worked hard at finishing her most recent book.
During the course of the week, over afternoon tea and walks in the country, we became familiar with Bonita’s gentle, calm, curious and innately intelligent presence. She would put her healing hands on one of our old, sick cats, and the kitty just seemed to rise up to meet her.
